Welcome back!
1) First make sure you check that you have submitted your Reflection on the Learning Goals to Google Classroom.
2) Next, we are going to go down to the library to choose independent reading books. Once you get your book, sign it out, find a comfy spot and read.
3) Now we will take stock of what your current digital footprint looks like. Using the worksheet on Google Classroom, analyse your last 100 social media posts on your selected platform or platforms.
4) Based on your analysis of your social media use, you will create an infographic that contains a chart of some kind and a written explanation reflecting on how well you think your digital footprint reflects who you really are. See Google Classroom for more details.
5) Once your social media inventory, infographic, and paragraph explanation are submitted on Google classroom, you will move on to the next step which is investigating different platforms that you could use for creating your own digital portfolio. You will be reflecting in this portfolio regularly. See Google Classroom for more details.
6) If you finish your "Identifying Features and Conventions of Media Texts" assignment, then you can move on to creating your portfolio using the project canvas planner in Google Classroom.
7) Tomorrow we will focus on digital citizenship and recording your first reflection on your chosen platform.
