School Within a School

The school within a school PD today is generating a lot of questions and ideas for me today.
I've basically made a copy of the powerpoint for the day and I've been recording my thoughts in the speaker notes:


Connected with Sue from Banting. We should go visit her science and art class.

As an early "lesson" we need to model using the project canvas. Talking to Bill and Darren at Medway.
They're doing a Art and Programming course. Saw parallels to our course.
Darren doing programming, Bill doing art. Programming is sort of like the English. BTA is art.
I think we need to have themes for our units so not necessarily do the local to global thing.

But if our course is “finding your voice in the digital age” maybe we make it based on that.
Unit 1: What does your digital footprint say about who you really are?
Unit 2: What are the major issues in the digital world today?
Unit 3: What possibilities and opportunities exist in the digital world?
Unit 4: How can we make the digital world a better place?

Course culminating task idea: Creating your Personal Brand.
